Despite having no pageant experience, San Marcos native Emily Clifford competed for and won the title of Miss Teenage California. Emily graduated from high school as a straight-A honor student and a varsity cheerleader. During her reign, she raised more than $10,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. She also visits Elementary and Girl Scout Troops to teach the youth about Anti-bullying. Not only does Emily play the piano, but she also sings in the church choir too! To top it off, the Mayor of San Marcos proclaimed June 14th as Emily Clifford Day. Emily is currently majoring in pre-law at BYU and plans to become an entertainment lawyer after graduation.
